VLC doesn't seem to follow instructions I put in my DVD project. Apple's DVD Player does. However, It always picks up where it left off. How can I get it to act like it is seeing my VIDEO_TS folder for the first time, so I can retest, retest, retest?

VLC should follow instructions. Which version do you use?

DVD player usually asks what it should do with a seen DVD. Which version do you use?

In the DVD Player Preferences, go to the "Previously Viewed" tab and set the "Start playing discs from" option to Beginning.

Contrarily to DVD Player (bug excepted), VLC is not DVD Specifications compliance. I have many good DVDs that have command problems with VLC.
