When I drop VTSs (using another app), I'd also like to disable the related buttons. For instance, if I drop the trailers, I'd also like to disable or delete the button (say, in the Features Menu) which takes you to the next menu for picking aan individual trailer among the list. If I'm dropping the trailers, I do want to go through the second menu so the program can discover it's looking for missing VTSs. I'd rather just disable the Trailers button in the 1st menu.

Sometimes this happens automatically, but when it doesn't, and when I resort to Disable/Delete (with the "Modifications go being recorded..." alert), the actual button in the Video_TS doesn't seem to be affected.

Am I missing something?

Since we're on the topic...

When I started out using myDVDEdit I deleted menu buttons rather than disabling them. But sometimes (though not always) that made buttons connect to the wrong functions, as the buttons are numbered and deleting buttons changes the numbers of the buttons after the deleted ones. Now I only disable buttons, with less disruptive result.

That's right.

And as button selection can be very hard to found, that is the best solution.

It's the same problem with Titles and PGCs. Deleting a PGC change all the other PGC index numbers. If some command does a direct call to a PGC number (it could be from a button) the player jump to the bad PGC.

My advice is: do not delete Titles or PGCs, just delete all cells and replace title cells with blank cells (Titles must always have a cell), than empty the trash to delete the unused VOB data bytes.
