Hi!

I created a DVD using Sizzle and myDVDEdit and it works fine in DVD Player on OS X but not on my real player. I get a disc error there.

Can anyone tell me, which information (if any) I need to supply so that you might be able to give me hints for a reason of this error?

I have the slight feeling that my errors result from deleting menus and PGCs.

Are there any known issues with this?

DVD-Video format must be UDF. How did you burn your DVD (with what tool)?.
Do not burn it with a speed too high. try to burn it with a low speed (4x should be good)

Other possibility: a bug in myDVDEdit. I have fixed many bugs in the next version, maybe your player do not support one of it. If it's that, sorry you will have to wait the next release... soon...

DVD Imager + Disk Utility. Format is UDF. The player shows the menu, but doesn't highlight any button and when I press [1] I get the disc error.

I even went down to 2.4x

I HOPE it's just the bug with the button I mentioned in the other thread. I will test that later and report.

What's worse: It seems to have (partly?) to do with Sizzle/dvdauthor. When I create a DVD with Sizzle, my player does display the menu for a really short period of time and then starts playing the first title.

If I press the Menu key, I'm returned to the title's menu (with just one button as I created it in that way) and after a short time, the film is resumed.
