Hi Jerome
After formatting and build in DVDSP3 for CSS encryption, and THEN modifying the VOB with myDVDedit to target the loop-point, will the build still retain the CSS flag?

Yes but warning, CSS encryption is not just a flag.
IFO files are not affected by encryption, but the VOB files cannot be read without CSS decoding, and myDVDEdit cannot dot that. So an encrypted DVD cannot be played with myDVDEdit.

You can change any PGC's or Cell's paramèters and save them but the sceen will steel black.
With the future 0.9.9, VOB cell removing will be possible, but not with CSS encryption.
